Contract Review and Negotiation

Ownit's experienced team review and negotiate the contract terms to protect your interests, ensuring all legal obligations are met before signing.

Key Milestones for Contract Compliance

Ensure all critical dates under the contract are met, including deposit payments, finance approval and Special Conditions. This guarantees compliance with contract terms and minimises the risk of delays or penalties.

Pre-Settlement Adjustments

Confirm all agreed-upon conditions are met. Settle any adjustments related to rates, utilities, rent and outgoings.

Settlement and Handover

Ownit coordinates the settlement process, ensuring the transfer of ownership is completed smoothly. Keys and legal documents are handed over, finalising the transaction.

Responsibility 1

If instructed, Ownit will conduct a comprehensive written review of your off-the-plan Contract for a very low fixed fee, safeguarding your interests and ensuring you understand the Contract prior to signing.

Responsibility 2

Ownit will send your initial correspondence, which includes a link to our easy digital onboarding process.

Responsibility 3

We will communicate with the Seller’s Solicitors to ensure conditions are satisfied on time and guide you through the process. We will also notify you as soon as we receive notice that the property has registered.

Responsibility 4

Ownit will coordinate the Settlement process with your mortgagee and provide you with settlement figures before settlement.

Responsibility 5

Ownit will represent you at Settlement ensuring all documentation is completed correctly. We will notify you and the sales agent when the settlement is completed.

Ownit will request feedback to ensure you have had a seamless and positive experience with us.

Provide us with instructions about the conditions due, and we will communicate with the Seller’s Solicitors ensuring conditions are met on time.

Sign your mortgage documents and return them to the bank.

Conduct your pre settlement inspection with the Sales Agent (if applicable) and contact us if you have any concerns.
